Julie was saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ in 1985. She attended a small Bible-believing church for the next 14 years where she learned the foundations of a solid walk with Christ and began to learn about Biblical counseling.

Then God, by His design moved them through several churches. The first introduced her to teaching in biblical counseling that affected the heart and brought about many changes in her own life.

God used the following pastor’s teaching to reveal His rich and abundant grace to her heart.

Through Reigning Grace Counseling Ministries, Julie put into practice the critical importance of the heart/mind connection and the impossibility of any meaningful change without it.

God has also given her glimpses of understanding His sovereignty on this journey of life.

In 2009 Julie and family moved to the Kansas City Missouri area and opened Reigning Grace Counseling Center, a biblical counseling ministry devoted to individual and family counseling from God's Word.
